A sunny day was the perfect setting for the Cambridgeshire Chambers Annual Summer Party. More than 200 guests enjoyed the lovely setting in Ely. Lord Pestano the President of The LDA was invited as a special guest and did a short presentation on the LDA and talked about how the LDA was building a strong relationship with the Chamber and welcomed the opportunity to talk to chamber members on how the LDA could help and support their respective businesses.
Charlotte Horobin the CEO of the Chamber, gave members and insight into the progress of the chamber, and the future plans and developments that were underway. Charlottes team were instrumental in organising and making the afternoon a major success.
The Chambers special guest of honour was The Rt Revd Dr Dagmar Winter, East Anglia’s first female bishop, who was appointed in 2019. The Bishop gave an address to guests, it was very inspirational and informative. Also in attendance was one of the Chambers board members Harvey Bibby, Marketing & Development Director for Grovemere Property, who sponsored the drinks reception and assisted Lord Pestano with the prize draw.
The prize draw was sponsored by the LDA`s official champagne partner and sponsor Louis Roederer. Which is the famous brand of Maisons Marques et Domaines. The lucky winners were Laura Dimmock and Fatima Agha partners of of STL Says who won an award winning bottle of champagne The other lucky winner was Anna Bennett the Tourism and Town Centre Manager for Visit Ely. Anna won a bottle of vintage rose.
